Ann was born October 9, 1918, in Wenatchee, WA, the sixth child of Claude V. Martin and Nancie E. Martin (Wiggins). Ann went to be with her Savior on April 12, 2013, after an extended illness. Ann married Perry (Pat) Charles Boyd on October 17, 1936, in Wenatchee, WA. From this union they had a son, Larry Gene Boyd. During the early years of their marriage they lived in Ephrata, Chelan, and Wenatchee. Before World War II they moved to Seattle, returning to Ephrata, WA, in 1950. Ann and Pat remained in Ephrata until the closing of Larsen Air Force base and then moved to the Tri-Cities. They returned to Ephrata in 1978. Ann was a homemaker, worked at several businesses in Ephrata, and was an Avon representative for many years. Ann was an excellent seamstress and made and altered clothing for friends and family. After Pat?s death in 1980, Ann became involved in community activities. She was a long time member of the Ephrata United Methodist Church and active in the Methodist Women?s club. Ann moved to Spokane, WA, in January 2001 to be near her son and family. Ann was preceded in death by her husband Pat Boyd, her parents, brothers, and one sister, nephews, and nieces. Ann is survived by her son, Larry (Jennifer) Spokane, three grandchildren; Judi Barbre, Brian Boyd, and Angelique Becherini, five great-grandchildren; Sarah Smith, Zayne Barbre, Parker Boyd, Dalton Boyd, Carmela Becherini, and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of Avalon Care Center Northpointe, Spokane, for the excellent care provided to Ann during her long residency there.
