Audrey Jo Cooper Obituary Audrey passed away January 26, 2011 at Hospice House of Spokane. Audrey Fialka O?Neill Cooper was born in Missoula, MT. She lived in various small communities in the Flathead area and moved with her parents to Oregon for a time. Her parents moved back to Missoula so she could attend the University of Montana where she received her bachelor?s degree in pharmacy. Soon after college she married Robert Winston O?Neill with whom she had four children. After Robert?s passing she married David Cooper to whom she was married for nearly 25 years until his passing. In 2001 she and David moved into the Good Samaritan Retirement Community. Here she had many good friends, participated in social activities, and volunteered in many loving ways. Audrey is survived by her sister, Althea McGuire, Spokane, WA; her children, David O?Neill, Boise, ID, Don O?Neill, Phoenix, AR, Brian O?Neill, Rochester, MN, Colleen Niemczyk, Spokane, WA; her grandchildren, Sami O?Neill, Issaquah, WA, Andy O?Neill, Palouse, WA, Erin O?Neill, Phoenix, AR, Adam O?Neill, New York, NY, Charles Durkoop, Denver, CO, Benjamin Durkoop, Moscow, ID; her great-grandchildren, Alley and Gunner Styer, Eddie and Tulip O?Neill, and her nephews and niece, Bill McGuire, San Antonio, TX, Dean Fialka, Hermiston OR, and Carol Lisenbee, Farmington, UT. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Bessie and Albert Fialka, her husbands, Robert O?Neill and David Cooper, and her brother, Ardean Fialka. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 3, at 10 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. A short Graveside Service will follow. Donations to Hospice of Spokane and Good Samaritan Society ? Spokane Valley are welcome.
