Barbara N. "Bobbie" Miller Obituary (Age 84) Peacefully passed August 23, 2011 at 10:20pm. She was born February 21, 1927 in the Bronx, New York, New York. She moved to Seattle at the age of eight. Daughter of William Wolff and Bessy Fish. Preceded in passing by her husband Edwin L. Miller of 44 years, son Jacob Miller, brother Ivan Wolff and sister Lennie Weiss. Survived by her son Scott A. Miller and wife Kathy; daughters-in-law Bronwyn and Catherine; grandchildren: Casey, Courtney, Annie, Derek, Jacob, Kinsey and Calvin; great-grandchildren Mani, Autumn, Aaliyah, Andrew, Nabila and Antaya; companion Standard Poodle, Lenny. Bobbie was loved and known for her love of cooking and platters of small bite size cookies of many varieties, each one a favorite. She would take whole plates of cookies to her dentist, cardiologist, auto repair shop and any event she attended. Referred to as Grandma Cookie Bobbie, she inspired her whole family for the love of cooking. Bobbie worked at Nordstrom and opened the first Spokane branch, a style maven for so many in Spokane, her taste and opinion was trusted and loved by many clients. She never met a dog she didn't love and adored her companion Lenny and took him everywhere. She was a member of Temple Beth Shalom. Bobbie will be loved and missed by all of her family and friends. Graveside Service 1:30PM Friday, August 26, 2011 at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, 608 N. Government Way (adjacent to Greenwood Memorial Park).
