Bernice J. Heath Obituary (Age 89) Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2012. She lived in the Spokane Valley where she had a long career as a cook for the West Valley School District. Bernice was an avid reader with the Soar Book Club and a volunteer at the Valley Hospital. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Cecil Heath. She is survived by her daughters Judy Horwath (Frank Horwath) and Kathy Barbero (Bob Barbero). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren as well as multiple nieces and nephews. Bernice will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00PM Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 2:00PM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3606 S. Schafer Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spokane Humane Society, 6607 N.
