Carol Arleigh Hepker Obituary (Age 87) Carol passed away December 19, 2010 at her home in Spokane. She was born in Spokane on December 25, 1922 to William and Ruth (Hoffman) Mahoney. She graduated from North Central High School in 1941, then attended Northwest Business College. Carol married Bob Hepker in November 1945 and they celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in 2009. She retired in 1982 from the Union Pacific Railroad. Carol enjoyed gardening, entertaining and travel. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Robert, and sisters Wilma Jackson and Beulah Hurd. She is survived by her sister Leila (George) Bieber, niece Arleigh (Gary) Simonson and nephews Lynn (Sue) Hurd and Dennis Hurd. The family wishes to thank Tammy DeGraff, Havenwood caregivers, the staff of Yokes at Indian Trail Rd., Hospice of Spokane and friend Colleen. At Carol's request, no service will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane or a charity of your choice.
