There was always an invite for dinner or a place to stay over for the night, which endeared her to many kids that grew up in the area. Along the way she and Connie took in several young people that needed a home. Carol and Connie met many of their lifetime friends through square dancing in clubs such as the "Swap and Swing" and "KD Squares."She loved to travel and be on the go, while planning her next adventure. Carol and Connie traveled throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. She loved to camp at many of the area lakes with family and friends, when they were not at the family cabin at Sacheen Lake.
