Carolyn Joyce Kuhn Obituary Carolyn Joyce Nutter Kuhn, 76, passed away on September 22, 2012. She was born to James R. and Dorothy E. Hansen on February 17, 1936 in Spokane where she lived most of her life. She was known as the "Cake Lady" and drove a red Caprice Classic convertible around town. She started her own cake decorating supply and bakery business and taught cake decorating classes for years. As a widower she raised her three children while working two jobs. She was a snowbird who loved to travel with her husband Herb, do crafts, and grow flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Clarence E. Nutter, and her husband of 29 years, Herbert L. Kuhn Jr. Carolyn is survived by her children Randall Nutter, Gregory (Kim) Nutter and Juanita (Pete) Pias, her brother James (Jane) Hansen, and her nine grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 29th at Heritage Funeral Home at 11:00 am
