Charles E. Irving, Jr. Obituary Charles E. Irving Jr. passed on March 25, 2011 at the age of 65. Charlie was born on April 11, 1945, in Sioux City, Iowa to Charles and Katherine Irving. Charlie grew up in Spokane, graduated from Rogers High School in '64 and found a passion for the railroad. He spent 27 years working for the Railroad, riding trains across the state, and sharing laughter and stories with his friends. Some of his favorite activities were attending Bible Study Fellowship International, going to lunch with friends and family, walking the beaches of Edmonds and picking up rocks, spending time with his grandchildren, and going for long drives in the car with Bernis. Charlie was kind, compassionate and always willing to help family and friends. Charlie and Bernis had 37 wonderful years together. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Bernis, his two sons, Scott and Lincoln and their wives, 3 brothers and 3 sisters, 3 grandchildren, and a great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister, and daughter Aleisha. A time of visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 30th from 10:00am to 5:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 31st at 10:00am at St. Lukes Lutheran Chu
