Charles P. Lobdell Obituary (Age 92) Charles P. Lobdell went to be with the Lord and his wife, Marie W. Lobdell on October 4, 2015. They were married for 63 years. Dad was born December 30, 1922 in Britton, South Dakota and moved to Spokane in 1936. He graduated from North Central High School in 1940. Dad and Mom were married October 10, 1942. Dad served in the U.S. Navy from March 1943 to December 1944. He had two sons, Charles Henry (Joanne) Lobdell and Robert S. Lobdell. He worked for Coca-Cola Co. from March 1945 to August 1957. He then worked for S & W Fine Foods from December 1957 until retirement June 1989. He had two grandsons and three great-grandchildren. He was a Life Member of the N.R.A. He was also a Life Member of the Spokane Gun Club serving three years as President. He was inducted into the Washington State Trap Shooters Hall of Fame in 1980. He enjoyed his last nine years, spending six months in Spokane and six months with his son Bob, in Peoria, Arizona. The family would like to send special thanks to Dr. Daniel Coulston, St. Joseph's Rehab Center, and Horizon Hospice for their loving, compassionate, and professional care for our loving dad. In lieu of flowers, if you choose, send a donation to either The El Katif Shriner's Hospital or Horizon Hospice in his name. Services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday October 24th, at Riverside Memorial Park, 508 N. Government Way Spokane, WA 99224, in the Rose Garden.
