Clyde "Dick" R. Keating Obituary (Age 76) Died January 8, 2010 after an extended battle with cancer. Dick was born in Colfax, WA on July 15, 1933 to John and Frances Keating. Dick was a lifelong resident of the Colfax - Pullman area until moving to Spokane in 2006 to be near family. Dick worked at WSU for 32 years before retiring in 1995, but remained a loyal Cougar fan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ray Keating. He is survived by his sisters Betty Bendixen of Spokane and Ruby Friesen of West Linn, OR along with numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Spokane Friends Church at 1612 W. Dalke, Spokane, WA. Viewing is available at Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, January 16, 2010 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
