Coleen Lindberg Obituary (Age 58) Coleen passed away peacefully on December 17, 2010 after having a lengthy illness. She was born April 21, 1952 at Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane to Clark and Frances Steel. She was the middle child having an older sister Carolyn and younger brother Craig. She grew up on the family farm north of Deep Creek and spent some time with her Aunt Ruth and Uncle Warren in Moses Lake at a young age. Coleen went all 12 years of school in Reardan graduating in 1970. In the summer of 1971 she worked at Yellowstone National Park later returning to Spokane to marry Bruce Lindberg in 1972 and together they had a son Ryan in 1973. She attended college at SCC and after graduating she started her career of 30 years at Sacred Heart Medical Center as a Health Unit Coordinator. She retired in 2007 after making many lifelong friends along the way. Coleen was a devoted single mom and later on became an amazing grandma. She loved all types of music and had many close friends. She is preceded in death by her father Clark Steel, and survived by her son Ryan Lindberg, granddaughter Madisyn Lindberg; sister Carolyn Hill (Bruce); brother Craig Steel; mother Frances Steel; and nieces Megan and Marissa Bolin of Missouri. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 5th, 2011 at 1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
