Denny was born on July 3, 1941 to Nick and Mildred (Schultz) Shein of Spokane Valley and graduated from Central Valley High School in 1959. On Septemeber 9, 2009 Denny lost his courageous battle with cancer. As a young man of 13, Denny started his long work history at the Yamamoto produce farm off Pines Road in Spokane Valley. Later, Denny worked for Safeway, Sceva Steel Co, and in the 70's became a part owner of Hi-Ball Erection & Construction Company. After Hi-Ball, Denny became a part owner of D&B Concrete, and most recently retired at Alutek. Denny is survived by his former wives Jackie Bender and Judy Shein. He leaves behind companion Dee Hines; sister Lola (Lloyd) Emter; brother Larry (Bernadette) Shein; son Nick Shein and fiance' Farrah Johnson; daughter Pam (Paul) Henderson; two grandsons Cody and Trevor, and step-grandaughter Shelby, along with many nieces and nephews. Denny is preceded in death by son baby boy Shein, his parents, and sister Patricia Nickerson. A Memorial Service will be held for Denny at Heritage Funeral Home Saturday, September 19th at 1:00pm.
