Dolores Louise (Otterstad) Gripp Obituary (Age 70) Went home Wednesday, August 19, 2009. She was born May 17, 1939 in Bemidji, MN to Theodore and Virginia Otterstad. She was a volunteer at St. Benedicts in Seattle, WA. She was in records management for Washington Mutual Bank and for the City of Spokane. Dolores loved the Seattle Seahawks and was their twelfth man. She graduated from Bethel High School in 1957 and later at the University of Washington. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary 1474. Dolores is survived by her sisters, Shar and Teddy Ann; brother, Bob; children, Sandra (Gripp) Larson, Jacqueline Pauli (Dan), William Gripp (MaryAnn), David Gripp (Elizabeth), Michael Gripp (Suzette), Patricia (Gripp) Flynn, Paul Douglas Gripp, Mark Gripp (Karilyn Hoffmann); grandchildren, Richard, Jessica, Daniel, Amy, Julie, Carolyn, Patrick, Mathew, Laura, Michael, Christopher, Jennifer, Bryan, Robert, April, Joshua, Jacob, Christopher Shane, Christopher, Nicholas, Anthony, Victoria, Thomas, Elizabeth, Kristyn, Emily, Casey; great-grandchildren, Desirae, Justice, Killian, Kendall, William, Jacob, Ryan, Tyler, McKenzie, Jerrod, Kaylee, Britney, Chase, Brianna, Christian, Isaiah, Braden, Kaley, Haley, Kourtney, Amanda, Dakota, Daemion, Odin; nephews and nieces, John, Tammy, Kathy, Byron, Denise, Virginia, Robert, Jason, Jeff; great nephews and nieces, Nicole, Chris, Misty, Maki, Kristin, Kevin, Levi, Serena, Selena, Letty, Jessica, Alex, Rachael, Timothy, Nicholas, Avery, Cameron, Maranda; great-great-nephews and nieces, Chris, Bobby, Sasha, Laura, Isabelle. She is preceded in death by her parents, twin brother Duane, daughter Sharon ?Sherri? Johnson (Gripp), grandson Paul, great-grandson Devon, brothers-in-law, Robert Gray, Sr. and John Walters, Sr., niece Theresa, close friends Sharon and Charlie Riddle. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 1 p.m. at VFW Post 51, 300 W. Mission, Spokane, WA. In lieu of flowers (she didn?t like flowers because it always reminded her of a funeral) memorial contributions may be sent to VFW 1474 Cancer Fund, 3008 E. Olympic Ave., Spokane, WA 99217.
