Donald J. Taylor Obituary (Age 79) Passed away August 22, 2009 in Spokane. He was born October 27, 1929 in Coulee City WA. The son of Donald S and Carmel (Schrock) Taylor. He grew up in Spokane and graduated from Rogers High School. After graduation he joined the US Navy for four years. He retired from Chevron after 31 years working in the service stations and driving trucks. Don enjoyed the outdoors, spending time hunting, fishing, camping and playing cards with friends. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Barbara, son Randy Taylor (Spokane), daughter Sherri (David) Hartill (Chattaroy WA), grandchildren Jennifer, Marissa & Jacob Taylor, Brooke & Brandon Hartill, great-granddaughter Destini Kurylo, nephew Robert (Elaine) Herman, nieces Michaelyn Herman, Kathleen (Terry) Thrush, Nancy (Larry) Honig, Diana (Randy) Robinson, Mary (Carl) Neidert, a great niece and numerous great nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Donna Kopp. He was a loving husband, father and friend. We all miss him very much and will keep the memories of him close to our hearts. Visitation will be held Thursday Noon to 5:00 PM, and Friday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Graveside services
