Doris Burch Obituary Doris Burch, age 73, passed away in Spokane, WA on August 22, 2012. She was born in Bozeman, MT on March 13, 1939 to Leonard Callender and Betty Layton. Doris worked as a housekeeper at Deaconess Hospital for 23 years. She enjoyed gardening flowers to make her yard look beautiful and spending time with her grandchildren. Doris has always believed that Angels were around her and her family to protect them. She is survived by her sons Karl and Kevin Schimpf of Spokane, WA, daughter Karen Thompson of Seattle, WA, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, August 27th from 10 am to 5 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 2 pm.
