Edith Laurel Olsen Obituary (Age 93) Passed away on August 20, 2009 in Spokane, WA. She was born on January 1, 1916 in Spokane, WA to William Sidney Miller and Phoebe Josephine Thorpe Miller. She married Robert Olsen on April 12, 1940 and shared the next 69 wonderful years with him raising their family and serving their Lord together. She was a member of the Euclid Avenue Baptist Church for fifty years where she taught Sunday school which she loved and served her Lord. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Robert; three children, Kathryn L. Voss (Neal), Karen L. Dodge and Larry R. Olsen (Cheryl); seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Miller. A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 from 12 to 5 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 24, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Memorial Terrace followed by a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. at The Porch, 1804 W. Broadway, Spokane, WA.
