Edna Scott Larson Obituary Edna, a life long resident of Spokane was born to Ernest H. and Maude Scott of Spokane and Chewelah Wa., January 2, 1917. She attended Rogers High School and graduated with the first graduating class there. She married Arthur E. Larson on Nov 25, 1936. They moved to Libby, Montana where Arthur built a home and they lived there until they returned to Spokane in 1942. Shortly after, Arthur enlisted in the Navy where he served for over 2 years. When he came home from WW2 they purchased a home in North Spokane where they raised their seven children. She lived in that home for 52 years and after the death of Arthur in 1997 she moved to the Lilac Plaza where she was very active in sewing, crafting, Bible study and prayer groups for over 10 years. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Maude Scott, a brother Ralph Scott, sister Dorothy Clemons, her husband Arthur E, son Robert A., daughter-in-law Brenda Larson, and grandsons Gene A. Webb and Matthew Larson. She is survived by her sister, Virginia Rollis, Renton, Washington; children Glenda Bakken and husband Gary of Spokane and Sun City West, Arizona; Lonnie and Nelda Larson of Sierra Vista, Arizona; Gayle Larson and husband John Strong, Sun City West, Arizona; Donald Larson and Donna Swensen, Spokane; Deanna Webb and husband Charles, Spokane; and Christopher Larson, Lake Oswego, Oregon; 23 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Edna was respected and loved by everyone her life touched. She was a faithful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She was by nature and choice a giver and server and was always faithfully involved in any organization and church she was in. She was most recently a member of Shadle Park Presbyterian Church. Memorial services will be held Friday, January 7 at 3:00 at Shadle Park Presbyterian Church, 5508 N. Alberta St., Spokane, WA.
