Edward John Reisenauer Obituary
Edward John Reisenauer, age 89, passed away December 20, 2010 in Spokane Valley, WA. He was born on July 11, 1921 to John and Eva Reisenauer in Dickinson, ND. Ed served in the C.C.C.?s and then joined the Army in 1939. In 1948, he married Victoria Jean White at the Hitching Post in Coeur d?Alene ID and together they enjoyed 62 years of marriage. Ed was employed by the Milwaukee Railroad for 27 years and resided in various small towns in Washington during this time. In 1963, the family settled in Spokane Valley. Ed is survived by his wife, children James Edward Reisenauer, David Reisenauer, Virginia Reisenauer?Dougherty and Jane Burrows, ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and sister Maria (Mary) Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Brandon Burrows. A time of visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Monday, December 27, from 10 am to 5 pm. A funeral service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 28, at 11 am.
