Elyles "Ellie" Mead Obituary (Age 86) Ellie was born in North Dakota on November 5, 1926 to John and Mary Walh. She passed peacefully on Thursday, October 3, 2013. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 60 years, Lewis Mead in 2007. She is survived by her daughter Paula DePue; grandchildren Rachel and Steve Yunk, Aaron and Jamie Fowler, Zakery DePue and Abigail DePue; nine great-grandchildren Ashlee, Jaedyn, Donovan, Makya, Stephanie, Austin, Lexi, Eme, and Brooklyn; numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. She loved her family deeply and she will be greatly missed. Ellie worked for Dun and Bradstreet for many years as well as the City of Spokane. She was a life time member of the Moose Lodge and Moose Hart. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Spokane Memorial Gardens at 2 pm.
