Erin Kathleen Vila Obituary (Age 40) Devoted and inspirational Traditional Catholic, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend: Erin Kathleen Vila was born on October 19, 1972 in Fullerton, CA, to proud parents George and Theresa Sullivan. She was the oldest of ten children and inspired laughing, singing, and praying in the Sullivan home. She always had a video camera in hand to catch the ever-dramatic lives of her family. After she graduated from Elsinore High School in 1990, she toured with the Children's Storybook Theater starring as Beauty in Beauty and the Beast . She continued acting with this company for several years. She also played Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof with her father and four of her siblings. She taught K-8 at Holy Guardian Angels Traditional Catholic School in Olathe, CO, for four years. She was married to Chico Vila in 2006, and they had two beautiful children, Diego and Esperanza. Erin was diagnosed with cancer in 2010, and she battled for over two years until God called her to Himself on November 4, 2012. She is survived by her husband, children, parents, and all nine siblings. Even though her life on earth is over, we know that she is now continuing her mission to love and serve God in Heaven as she did on earth. There will be a public Rosary at Mount Saint Michael's Traditional Catholic Church in Spokane, WA at 6pm on Friday, November 9. She will be laid to rest on Saturday at St. Michael's at 10:30am.
