James Vardie Meadows Obituary (Age 83) Passed away on May 28, 2011 in Spokane. James was born March 9, 1928 in Mississippi. He served in the army during WWII and then served as a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, he went on to serve as the Police Chief of Airway Heights, a community where he was a longtime resident. James loved hunting, fishing, camping, and gardening. A graveside service will be held at Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 W. Espanola Rd, Medical Lake, WA on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11:15 am.
