Jesse W. Forbes Obituary Passed away March 14, 2009. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY February 11, 1911 and moved to Spokane in 1917. In 1947 he went to work at Millwood Meat Market which he later purchased and retired in 1972. He married Ethlyn Larson in 1934 and she passed away in July 1978. He spent his spare time fishing, hunting and wood cutting. Jesse is survived by a son Roger Forbes; daughters Carol Wordelman, Bev Humphrey and Sandra Jordan; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services 11:00AM Thursday March 19, 2009 at Sunset Chapel of Fairmount Memorial Park. Donations can be made to Hospice of Spokane P.O. Box 2215 Spokane, WA 99210.
