John Bernard Bradley Obituary
Passed away on April 14, 2009 in Spokane, WA. He was born on April 2, 1921 to John B. Bradley, Sr. and Adine (Brownlee) Bradley in Salt Lake City, UT. He spent several months working in the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1938 and graduated from Judge Memorial High School in 1939. He entered the U.S. Army Air Force in 1942 and spent two years at Sheppard Field, TX as a Glider Instructor and two years in England and Europe. Jack graduated from the University of Utah in 1949. He worked in various jobs until 1958 when he moved to Spokane, WA with Howe Richardson Scale Co. He met his wife Olwen (Jones) Bradley in San Francisco, CA and they were married in Spokane in December of 1958. In 1976, Jack started his own business "Inland NW Scale Co", both in Spokane and Tri-Cities. He belonged to the Spokane Club and the "Scale Mens Assoc". He and his wife enjoyed numerous visits to the Oregon Coast. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Mary Adine and brother Joe. He is survived by his wife Olwen; nephew Bradley Mitchell and niece Colleen Mitchell. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME.
