Kathryn "Kay" (Keilty) Lewis Obituary (Age 87) Longtime Spokane resident, Kathryn ?Kay? (Keilty) Lewis passed away the morning of December 26, 2015. Kay was born December 6, 1928 to Dr. Edward and Margaret Keilty. She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1947 and then went to work with Washington Water Power as an office administrator and then later went on to be a full-time homemaker after her wedding day. On 6/27/1953 she married Clyde E. Lewis and together they raised two children. Kay and Clyde were members of Manito Golf and Country Club for many years where Kay enjoyed bridge, mahjong, and golf. Her summers were spent at Lake Coeur d? Alene at their family cabin in Echo Bay, enjoying family, friends and the beauty of nature. She valued family immensely and had great pride in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren she would never fail to tell all who would listen. Kay?s strength came from her strong faith in Jesus Christ. Kay was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church and in her later years a member of Crestline Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father Edward John Keilty (1968), and mother Margaret (Haring) Keilty (1977), her brother Edward John (Jack) Keilty (1961) and her sister Jean (Keilty) Fitzpatrick (1995). Kay is survived by her husband Clyde Lewis, children Kari (Rod) Pettit and Clay (Edie) Lewis; her 4 grandsons, Corey (Tiffany) Pettit, Cody (Ariel) Lewis, Travis Lewis, Brian Lewis and 3 great-grandchildren Cole Pettit, Jackson Pettit and Lucy Lewis. Services will be held at Heritage Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideon?s International, P.O.
