Leanna Daveine Rosenau Obituary
Passed away May 27, 2011 with her family by her side. Leanna was born December 18, 1936 to Anna and Irvin Voss in Spokane, Washington. On August 21, 1952 she married Lyle Rosenau. A lifelong resident of Spokane, Leanna worked at the Broadway Truck Stop until her retirement in 1998. She was a member of the Rats and Cats, a member of the DAVA Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 9, and a member of Good Shepard Lutheran Church.
Leanna was an excellent care giver, dedicating many years nursing her mother, husband and sister. She spent her summers at Clear Lake with friends and family fishing, swimming and cooking wonderful meals. Leanna enjoyed reading, dancing and loved her solitaire.
Leanna is survived by her children Bill Rosenau (Janee Evans) and Dee (Duane) Yates; her grandchildren Alyson (Chris) Bunch, Nathan Yates, Rachel (Mike) Kincaid, Anna (Jim) Tsakrestos, Brandon Evans and Taylor Rosenau; great-grandchildren Ryder and Harley Kincaid, Demetrios Tsakrestos and his baby sister who is on the way. Leanna is also survived by her sister Betty Cramer, a half-brother Willis Voss, and her brother-in-law Lester Rosenau, sister-in-law Genivieve Voss, numerous, dearly loved nieces, nephews, and adopted grandchildren, and one feisty feline, Cat Sister. Leanna was preceded in death by her husband Lyle Rosenau, brother Jim Voss, sister Helen Erickson, and sister-in-law Lynn Rosenau. Services for Leanna will be held Saturday June 11, 2011 at 2pm at Heritage Funeral Home, graveside following. Matt Larson officiating. Viewing will be held Friday June 10th, 2011 from Noon to 5pm.
