Muriel H. Ormsby

Muriel H. Ormsby Obituary Passed away June 23, 2009. She was born August 11, 1913 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Muriel and Louis Howard. She grew up in Pullman and after marrying her beloved husband, Willard, lived in Spokane, Seattle and Pendleton, Oregon. Later in life she moved to Spokane to be close to her remaining family. She was active in PEO, bridge, Delta Delta Delta sorority (WSU) and St. Catherine?s and St. Francis Guilds at The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. Muriel enjoyed traveling the world, a good read and a great movie. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Sylvia Jo Watson, and four sisters. Muriel is survived by her daughter Richi Caldwell, Spokane; grandchildren Courtney Watson and her husband Brian, Colorado Springs; Joel Watson, Salt Lake City; Eric Caldwell and his wife Lisa, Seattle; Sean Caldwell and his wife Toni, Spokane. She also leaves her great-grandchildren Keaghan, Emma, Meghan and Wyatt of Spokane; Galen, Alexander and Henry of Seattle, and Zoey and Campbell of Colorado Springs. Her zeal for life will be missed. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice House of Spokane.
