Norman E. Brown

Norman E. Brown Obituary (Age 87) Norm passed away on Friday July 17, 2009 in Spokane. He was born on August 19, 1921 in Pasco, WA. He Graduated from Pasco High School in 1939. During WWII, Norm served in the U.S. Army in the Black Panther Unit. After the war, Norm moved to Spokane where he attended and graduated from Kinman Business College. While attending Kinman, Norm worked at Hennessey Funeral Home. On December 6, 1952 Norm married Anita "Nita" Fuhrman. Norm was a member of Masonic Lodge 240 in Millwood. Norm was a member of the West Valley High School Board and received the Golden Acorn Award for outstanding meritorious work. He worked at Kaiser Trentwood in the Data-Processing Section for 35 years. Norm was a member of St. John's Cathedral for many years. After retirement, Norm became President of Brown Dog Shows. Norm is survived by his wife Nita, son Jeff, daughter Janis, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and his sister Rowena Bethards. A private Memorial Service will be held in August. Norman will be missed by all who knew him.
