Paula R. Handlin Obituary
Paula passed away on December 29 after a brief illness. She was born in Dayton, OH. Paula was raised as a Reform Jew. She graduated from Jefferson Elementary School and Fairview High School. She married Syd Handlin on December 24, 1967, the Rabbi said there was nothing else to do on Christmas Eve. She was a devoted loving wife to Syd and devoted loving mother to her son, Brad. She had a tremendous heart. She was recognized as a very kind generous person more concerned about others than herself. Paula was looking forward to being a grandmother. While she didn't live long enough for that, she'll be looking down on her future grandkids. Paula was very devoted to the Democratic Party. Paula had a great artistic ability. She will be missed and remembered by all who loved this very special lady. She is survived by her husband, Syd; brother Hugh; son Brad; nephew Steven; and niece Jessica. Paula leaves a great legacy in her son Brad. Graveside Service 11:00AM Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
