Robert Roland Daniels

July 19, 1928 - April 22, 2009

Robert Roland Daniels Obituary Robert went to be with the Lord on April 22, 2009. He was born in Cody, WY on July 19, 1928. He attended Coeur d?Alene High School. On January 3, 1946 Robert enlisted in the Army. He served our country in Pusan, Korea in the 6th Combat Engineer Battalion as Staff Sergeant and was honorably discharged on May 26, 1947 from Ft. Lawson, WA. He graduated from telegraph school in Spokane and also worked on the construction of Coulee Dam and Alcoa Mead Plant. Robert later went to work in the Morning Star Mine in Mullan, ID and also the National Geographic Mine in Arizona. In 1961 he became Superintendent of Greenwood/Riverside Cemeteries for eight years. In 1968 he started his own business, Daniels Sprinklers, which later became Daniels Country Store in north Spokane. At the same time he was serving as Pastor of Regal Street Baptist Church for 10 years. Robert is survived by his wife of 58 years, Billie Daniels; son Tim (Marti) Daniels, and daughter Kathie (Vic) Allen, all of Spokane, and daughter Sharon (Mark) Bullock of Hayden, ID; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Viewing and Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25th from 10:00am to 5:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 11:00am at Heritage Funeral Chapel.
