May 18, 1918 - November 04, 2010

Rochelle Bouwens Obituary (Age 92) The family of Rochelle Bouwens sadly announces the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on November 4, 2010. Our mother was born in Wallace, ID on May 18, 1918, as the only child of Emil and Stephanie (DeStoop) Bouwens from Belgium. She moved to Spokane in the 30's to attend Lewis & Clark High School. She later met and married Walter Frederick Wiley (deceased in 1961) of Spokane and had three children: Richard Frederick Wiley, 1945 (deceased in 2004); Thomas Walter Wiley, 1949 of Spokane and Kathleen Ann Macasa, 1954 of Dallas, TX. While raising her three children in Fairfield, WA she met and married Charles Blake in 1963. She was a grandmother to Stephanie and Matthew Wiley, born to Tom and Margie Wiley; Michael Macasa, born to Steve and Kathy Macasa. She experienced the joy of having a great-granddaughter Kaylea Wiley, born to Matthew Wiley. She was a very strong and independent woman who's passions included interior design and selling carpets for Montgomery-Wards in her 1964 originally restored T-Bird. She was an active member of Our Lady of Lords Parish. Family and friends will gather to remember the life of Rochelle Bouwens at 2:00PM Monday November 8, 2010 at Heritage Chapel, with reception to follow.
