Ronald S. Morgan Obituary (Age 64) Passed away April 24, 2011 at his home in Spokane. He was born April 29, 1946 in Salem, OR to Elmer and Betty Morgan. He graduated from North Salem High School in 1964, then served in the Army as a staff sergeant 1968-70 during the Viet Nam War. Ron married the love of his life Dana, March 18, 1972. He graduated with an AA in Drafting Technology from Chemeketa Community College and began work for CH2M Hill Engineering Consultants in Corvallis, OR in 1974. Ron moved his family to Spokane in 1980 and due to health issues he retired early in October 2002. He loved living his life playing baseball, golfing, camping, fishing and music. He was also an incredible artist who showed his creativity through building amazing birdhouses. Ron is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dana; 4 children, Dan Morgan of Salem, OR, Bryn Dickson of Battle Ground, WA, Colby Fetters and Brittany Morgan Page of Spokane and their spouses; 4 grandchildren, Aiden, Shay, Ella and Brooklyn; brother Darrel Morgan of Twin Falls, ID; sister Shirley Mickelson of Vancouver, WA; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Ryan Shay Morgan. There was not one person who ever met Ron without falling in love with him. He had an amazing impact on an innumerable amount of people and will be infinitely missed. Memorial Service open to all 4:00PM Thursday April 28, 2011 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Spokane North Stake Center, 401 W.
