April 12, 2014 - April 12, 2014

Sylvia T. Gregerson Obituary (Age 84) Sylvia T. Gregerson was born in Northern Minnesota in early 1930 and entered into the presence of Jesus on April 12, 2014. She was the fifth of six children born to Hendrik Torval and Selma Berg Iverson. Sylvias early schooling was in Thief River Falls, MN. She went on to train as a Registered Nurse at the Deaconess School of Nursing in Grand Forks, North Dakota, graduating in 1950. Most of her nursing career was at St Lukes Hospital in Spokane. She LOVED nursing and community involvement. After her marriage to Gene Hill, they moved from Grand Forks, to Lewiston, Idaho and then Spokane, Washington. After 13 years and 5 children that marriage ended in divorce. However, the best was yet to come. In December of 1963, she married Grant E. Gregerson and added three more children to the mix, becoming a blended family of ten! Sylvia passed away after struggling with cancer. She was preceded in passing by her parents, sisters Earlene and Joyce, brother Seymour, daughter-in-law Barb Hill. Sylvia is survived by her husband Grant, sister Lorraine (Gerry) Stone, brother Cliff Iverson (Mary), children Johnnie A. Gregerson (Sally), Alan K. Hill (Connie), Mark A. Hill (Lida), Janet M. Gregerson (Sue), Casey L. Hill, Jean A. DeBruler (Dan), Dianne M. Armstrong (Tim), and Eva J. Hill. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and foster grand-children. Sylvia will be missed by her family, friends, and neighbors. Til we meet again! Memorial Service to be held 2 PM, Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Heritage Funeral Home.
