Verlyn C. Hinkle Obituary (Age 84) Verlyn was born September 14, 1928 in Orofino, ID to Harry and Glynthora Hinkle. He passed away January 10, 2013 in Spokane. Verlyn graduated North Central High School in 1946. He enlisted in the US Navy and was discharged in 1952. Verlyn and his business partner, John Karpinski operated a Standard Oil Service Station until he went to work at the Spokane Dental Lab where he worked until he retired. He and his wife enjoyed their Deer Lake summer place until recently. Verlyn was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Glynthora Hinkle. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11:00 am at Heritage Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited to a luncheon following the service at Northern Lights Brewery, 1003 E. Trent Ave, Spokane, WA 99202. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of Spokane, P.O. Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210.
