November 28, 1921 - July 28, 2016

Wilma Rosalie Taylor Obituary (Age 94) Passed away peacefully on July 28, 2016. Born November 28, 1921 in Sack, Canada to Archie Moock and Augustina Shauer. Her siblings were Diana Schrock, Bruce Moock, Jacqueline Jacobson and Edward Moock. The family came to America by train to Elk, Washington in 1925. Shortly thereafter, they became citizens and moved to Spokane. She graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1940. Wilma met Gerald Millay Taylor at the age of 16 and married at 19 in 1941. They celebrated 69 happy years together. They were the proud parents of Rodney, Mark, and Douglas. Later adopted a grandson, Timothy (son of Rodney). Wilma was also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Wilma loved her independence, at 94 still having lunch with friends, china painting, always doing puzzles and games on the internet. She was the family historian and loved telling life stories. She was still visiting and telling her stories until the last days as the family visited in the hospital and called on the phone. After saying goodbyes to her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she simply left, peacefully, quietly, and at rest. Goodbye Mom, Gramma, Oma, Great Gramma, and Willy. Give our best regards and love to Dad, until we see you both again. There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, August 12, 2016 at 2:00pm at Heritage Funeral Chapel.
