Albert Howard Clark entered into rest on June 21, 2013 in Coeur d'Alene, ID. He was born in Salt Lake City, UT on December 21, 1927 to Albert Hector Clark and Marie Russell. He was one of four children including his sister, Anna Jananne Usher(Joe), and two brothers, George Russell Clark(Bonnie) and John Richard Clark. Howard joined the Navy during World War II from 1942-1945. He then married Barbara Clark and they spent 61 wonderful years together. They had three children, Roy, Rod, and Ron. He became a police officer for the Spokane Police Department and retired after 27 years of service. Howard and Barbara enjoyed traveling, displaying their art at fairs and festivals throughout the NW, touring on their Gold Wing Motorcycle, camping with their children and spending time with family at their lake cabin. After a terrible accident, Howard received special care from Susan and Norma the last few years of his life. His sons spent many hours to make sure he was well taken care of these last few years. Howard is survived by his wife, Barbara, his three sons, Roy Clark, Rod Clark(Cathy), and Ron Clark(Cheryl); grandchildren, Stephanie Pfeifer (Tualitin, OR), Sean Clark (Spokane, WA), Katrina Clark (Spokane, WA), Jessi Biladeau (Fallbrook, CA) and Courteney Clark (Coeur d'Alene, ID); great-grandchildren, Alexis Clark (Spokane, WA), Akira Clark (Spokane, WA) and Bo Pfeifer (Tualitin, OR). Viewing will take place on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 9:00am - 1:30pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 2:30pm at Fairmount Memorial Park with Pastor Harold Tucker officiating.
