Ada Ellen (McKernan) Daubel Obituary Ada was born in Kansas and moved to the Spokane area in 1933. She graduated from Mead High School in 1944. In 1946 she married John Daubel and they had two children. Ada was a hard worker who helped her husband run his sawmill, planted a large garden and cared for her family. In addition to working at home, Ada retired from a life long career at Safeway. She truly enjoyed family reunions and other celebrations. She was preceded in death by her husband John and son, Danny. Ada is survived by her daughter, Linda (Rob) Crawford (Kent, WA), sister Pearl (Gene) Ziegler (Spokane, WA), brother Daniel (Freda) McKernan (Everett, WA), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and good friends. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 23, at 2:00 pm at Sunset Chapel located in Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave. A potluck reception will be held at the parsonage at Fairmount following a short graveside committal service.
