Adam Keith Murray Obituary
(Age 29) Adam Murray, our beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and lifelong friend was tragically taken from us on January 1, 2016 at 1:15 pm at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington.
Adam was born on August 11, 1986 in Portland, Oregon and grew up in Cheney, Washington. Adam was very active in sports throughout his entire childhood, and later learned to love driving and working on cars.
As an adult, Adam co-hosted the Bromance Radio Show, where he and long-time friend, Dom, discussed controversial topics that mainstream radio avoided. He then founded the Spokane chapter of CopBlock and was one of the hosts of the National CopBlock radio show. He also loved his job driving limousines for A-Star Limousine. He was outgoing and enjoyed a good joke, or a bad one. He was open-minded and willing to think, feel, and live unconventionally. He had a positive lasting effect on almost every life he touched and had the ability to bring people together putting their differences aside. He enjoyed many things, especially cars, music, and video games. And was open to new challenges. He was a good father and loyal friend. He was generous with his time and found many opportunities for all to have fun together.
The way Adam lived his life is best summed up by the quote: "Life is short: Break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile."
He is survived by two children, Joseph, 11 and Kayle, 10, sister Accalia, mother, Sherry, father, William, long-time partner and mother of his children, Lindsey Lindhag, ex-wife, Kayla LaRue, grandparents Pete and Claudia, Grandmother, Betty, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in both the Olympia, Washington and Chicago, Illinois area, and many loving friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm. His spirit lives on in the hearts, minds, and souls of his family and friends. His generosity is shown in the ultimate gift of life as an organ donor - giving a second chance for others and their families. Thank you Adam. You are always loved and never forgotten.
