Adina Ballensky Obituary (Age 89) Passed away in Spokane Valley, WA on Friday, November 2, 2012. She was born to Joeseph and Lukatia Galster in Beulah, ND on July 17, 1923. Adina married Fred Ballensky on July 20, 1952 and would become a homemaker and mother of three. She loved gardening (especially roses), and was very talented at quilting, knitting, crocheting, and tatting lace. Adina attended Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Ballensky, brothers; Erwin Galster and Fred Galster; and sister Irene Guenthner. She is survived by her daughters; Sharon (Leo) Valenzuelza of Colton, CA and Viona Ballensky of Harrisburg, PA, son; Randolph (Carla) Ballensky, Greenacres, WA, brothers; Harold (Martha) Galster, Alfred (Marie) Galster and Walter Galster, sisters; Florina Galster and Joan Galster, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. A time of visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 10 am to 5 pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane, WA on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 10 am.
