Albert "Al" Mebius Obituary (Age 92) Al passed away on March 26, 2013 in Spokane, WA. He was a member of Christ The King Lutheran Church in Coeur d' Alene and was a Navy veteran from WWII. Al loved riding his horses and attended the Gentlemen on Horseback Ride for over 30 years including several years as the Trail Boss. Al and Maxine enjoyed a lifetime of square dancing together and he retired as a postal letter carrier after 36 years of service. Al is survived by his wife Maxine of 53 years, two sons Michael of Liberty Lake, WA and Craig and his wife Cyndee of Peoria, AZ, three grandchildren Natasha, Connor, and Natalie, and numerous nieces and nephews. Al was preceded in death by his parents John and Sophia Mebius, brothers Ed and John Mebius, and sisters Rosa Mebius and Lillian Kropp. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Heritage Chapel. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park.
