Albert P. Friedman Obituary
(Age 88) Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-grandfather, passed away January 27, 2016 in Spokane, Washington. Albert was born February 9, 1927 in Spokane, Washington to Albert Friedman and Maude Friedman. After graduating from High School at the age of 17, he joined the United States Army Air Forces serving in WWII. After his service Albert attended Washington State College of Pharmacy and was the former owner of Sunset Pharmacy and Broadway Pharmacy. He married Marilyn Friedman on December 9, 1950 in Colville, WA, and they were married for 65 loving years. Albert enjoyed spending time with his family as well as boating, dancing, and woodworking. He was past Commodore of the Spokane Yacht Club and was past President and past Northwest Vice President of the International Order of Blue Gavel (District 1). Albert was a member of Manito Masonic Lodge #246. He also was member of Inland Empire Explorers Winnebago Club. Albert is survived by his wife; Marilyn Friedman; his children Valerie Bartlett, Spokane Valley, WA, Janice Miller (Leroy) Spokane, WA, and Jay Friedman, Spokane Valley, WA. Eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren also survive him. His son Craig Friedman, his mother Maude Friedman, his aunt Albra Paddock and his brother Eugene "Cork" Friedman preceded Albert in death. A Viewing will be held Thursday, February 4, 2016 from 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. and Friday, February 5, 2016 from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Service Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 1:00p.m.
