Alice Eileen Lemley, 82, of Spokane, Washington, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, surrounded by love, just one day after celebrating her 82nd birthday. She was born on January 3, 1944, in Cottonwood, Idaho, to Wayne and Mary Wright.
Alice lived a life marked by quiet strength, unwavering integrity, and devoted service to others. She was genuinely kind, deeply caring, and dependable in every sense of the word. If Alice gave her word, it was as good as done. Though her life included many hardships, she met each one with faith, resilience, and determination. She never quit. She endured, provided, and loved unconditionally.
A faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Alice’s life was guided by her testimony of Jesus Christ. Her faith was not only something she believed, but something she lived through compassion, endurance, service, and love. She sought to lift others quietly and consistently, never looking for recognition, only opportunities to help.
For many years, Alice worked as a Health Unit Coordinator at Sacred Heart Hospital, where she was known for her strong work ethic, kindness, and dedication. Whether in her profession, her church, or her home, she found true purpose in caring for others.
Above all else, Alice cherished her family. Her greatest joy was found in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She especially loved scrapbooking, carefully preserving memories and milestones, creating lasting treasures that told the story of a family she adored.
Alice had three sons: Robert (Natalie), Richard (Satoyo), and Randy Lemley.
She is survived by her sons; her grandchildren Robert (Cassidy), Jared (Rachel), Riley (Taylor), Adam (Heidi), Angelina, Alicea, Mei, Ema, and CJ; and her great-grandchildren Rein, Clark, Sophie, Scott, Hallie, and Rudy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Vern and Don Wright.
Alice’s legacy is one of perseverance, faith, and selfless love. She taught by example what it means to endure with grace, to work hard, to trust in the Lord, and to love deeply. Her influence will continue through the many lives she touched. She will be profoundly missed and forever cherished.
