Alice Violet White Obituary (Age 92) Alice passed away peacefully on January 17, 2015 in Spokane, WA. Alice was first married to Raymond E. Anyan and has three sons, Tom, Daryl and Mick Anyan. On August 16, 1947 she remarried to William Maurice "Morrie" White and had one son, William White, Jr. Alice and Morrie served as husband and wife team as Washington Department Commanders of the DAV in 1971 and 1972. Alice had served as a volunteer at Eastern Washington State Hospital for 28 years and had been Hospital Chairman for the Department of Washington DAVA for many years. She was also a volunteer at the Spokane VA Hospital for over 32 years. She enjoyed the summers at the family lake home at Deer Lake. Alice was preceded in death by Morrie White; her son Michael "Mick" Anyan; sisters Viola Fiechtner and Laura Zwiegardt; brothers Arnold Zwiegardt and Melvin Aman; nephew Ron Fiechtner and niece Marilyn Fiechtner. She is survived by sons Tom (Debra) Anyan, Daryl (Arvella) Anyan, and William (Joanne) White; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews, and companion Al Haugh. Charitable donations may be made in memory of Alice White to Hospice House of Spokane, PO Box 2215, Spokane, WA 99210. Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, January 24th from 10:00am to 5:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 10:00am at Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley Ave., Spokane.
