Allen Francis Wilhelm Obituary Born April 17, 1959 lost his brave battle with cancer on Sunday July 12, 2009. He is survived by wife Shari and their three sons, Dustin, Jesse, and Matthew; his parents Allen (Buck) and Joanne Wilhelm of Clarkia, Idaho, and grandfather Francis Wilhelm, of Post Falls, Idaho. He is also survived by his sisters Kim Wilhelm, Linda Wilhlem, Christy Wilhelm who adored him and his brother and best friend Don Wilhelm and his wife Lynne. He was cherished and loved by sisters-in-law, Linda Skogen, Marcia Bingham, Antoinette Johnston and brother-in law and friend Bob Johnston. He had numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss him greatly. Allen loved the outdoors and was an avid boater, snow-skiier, ATV enthusiast and spent Octobers in Clarkia hunting with his dad. Allen graduated from Post Falls High school in 1977 where he lettered in several sports. Allen loved his family and enjoyed spending quality time with them at their lake cabin on Coeur d'Alene Lake. Allen worked with his wife at the State Farm Agency and was in partnership in real estate with his brother Don. Allen was loved passionately by his family and friends and will forever be in the hearts and memories of all who knew him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Allen's honor on Saturday, July 18. at 1:00pm at St. Thomas More Catholic Church 515 W. St. Thomas More Way, Spokane WA. A private family burial service will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, where he will rest in peace along with his father-in-law Robert Johnston and mother-in-law Michaelyn Spaulding. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
