Allen LeRoy Whitney Obituary (Age 77) Of Santa, ID passed away December 18, 2016 at his rural home. He was born July 6, 1939 in Grangeville, ID to Allen and Pearl (Zypse) Whitney. Allen joined the Navy in 1956 and served until 1962. He had many trades throughout his life including a farmer, rancher, mechanic and interstate truck driver. He is survived by his wife Barbara Jean Whitney at their home; four children Rosanna Frerichs of Algona, Debbie Pond of Lewiston, Paula Johnson of Spangle and Brian Whitney of Lapawi; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother Nick Whitney of Spokane; two sisters Judy Hubbard of Spokane and Sue Leinweber of Colfax. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Nona and a brother Robert. Funeral Service 1PM Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Chapel.
