Allen M. Jackson Obituary Allen was born in Spokane, WA to Mark and Lila Jackson on February 1, 1926. A lifelong Spokane resident, he attended Rogers High School but did not graduate due to the war. He served on the USS Stanly during the later part of World War II and returned to Spokane where he was hired by the Great Northern Railroad (later Burlington Northern). Allen loved being an engineer with his favorite job being the one that took him from Spokane to Wenatchee. He also loved cars, boats and attending Stanly reunions. Ingrid and Allen are survived by their daughter, Deanne Jackson of Spokane; Ingrid's brother Vernon Thomason of Spokane, WA; nephew Roger Thomason of Spokane, WA; niece Jennifer Stalwick of Post
