December 10, 1986 - September 29, 2009

Alyson Hieber Obituary (Age 22) On December 10, 1986 a brilliant light entered the world and her radiant presence changed our lives. Alyson was the first daughter born to John and Debbie Hieber. Two years later she was joined by her younger sister and best friend, Mikayla. Alyson graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in 2005. She attended the University of Montana and SFCC. Alyson was a compassionate and joyful person - always ready with a smile and a kind word. She spent many hours working with children and was a volunteer for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Spokane. The sudden loss of our beautiful angel on September 29, 2009 is a devastation that cannot be expressed. A strong family and the gracious love, prayers and support from the community is a comfort during this most difficult time. Alyson's sweet and bright spirit touched the lives of all she met and she will live on always in our hearts. Alyson is survived by her parents, John and Debbie, her sister Mikayla Hieber, grandmother Marvella Stejskal, and boyfriend Jerin Harper. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and close family friends are mourning her loss. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Harvey Stejskal, John Hieber II, and Athylee Hieber. A service celebrating Alyson's life will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 318 S. Cedar Street. A reception will follow at Manito Country Club, 5303 S. Hatch Rd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Alyson's name be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Spokane, 1015 W. Fifth Ave., 99204
