Anella "Nell" M. (Enneking) Jacobs Obituary (Age 78) Was born October 17, 1932 to Joseph and Elizabeth Enneking in Keuterville, Idaho, the 5th oldest of 12 children. She passed away September 21, 2011 in Spokane, WA. She attended a one room country grade school, Timber School, a Benedictine High School, St. Gertrudes Acadamy; Sacred Heart School of Nursing; and obtained her BSN degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She had a lengthy career as a registered nurse in hospitals then community health care settings retiring in the 1990s. She was devoted to her family and was an avid bridge player. She also enjoyed reading, quilting, gardening, and volunteer activities. Nell was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Ray, George, Bob; two sisters Eileen and Jeanette. She is survived by three sisters Teresa Upmor, Joeine Enneking, Patricia Bingham; three brothers Frank, Gene, and Joe. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Willian A. "Bill" Jacobs; three sons Jerry (Ladan) of Kent, WA, Jack (Veronica) of San Diego, CA, Jeff (Michele) of San Mateo, CA; one daughter Janis (Steve Nantz) of Mukilteo, WA; six grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Jesuit House Chapel on Gonzaga University Campus, Spokane, WA 99202 at 10am on Monday, September 26th. Private inurnment at Holly cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Monastery of St. Gertrude, 465 Keuterville Rd. Cottonwood, ID 83522; National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), PO Box 62596, Baltimore, MD 21264; or Hospice of Spokane.
