Angeline Rose Fosburgh

Angeline Rose Fosburgh passed on June 6^th at Sacred Heart Hospital. She had a tragic fall on

May 20^th that caused brain damage. She was born on January 21, 1940, in Dodge, North Dakota. She graduated from Marycliff High School and retired from the bookbinding department at the University of Washington. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Robert W. Fosburgh, who survives her at 98 years old. Angie and Robert loved their dogs and enjoyed reading books together. Taking care of her husband was her primary concern; they shared and enjoyed a long successful marriage. Everyone in the family could feel the love from Angie, and the love she felt in return defined the importance of family.

Angie had a tendency to be late for events, but she never seemed to mind too much if she was late, and as far as her family was concerned, we were just glad to have her in attendance.

Angie was a talented artist but was shy about taking credit for the quality of her art. The family was surprised by the quantity of her art and regret that she did not share her art more openly. She was a truly independent person that developed a feisty reputation, willing to listen but forged her own path. She would engage in friendly arguments but held her own opinions. It was a pleasure to discuss different opinions with her. She was sensitive about her hearing problems but was a strong advocate to encourage others to use hearing aids.

Along with her sister Agnes, they formed a friendship group known as the Four Sisters and would meet once a month, now survived by Agnes and Jo Ann Seidensticker. She always enjoyed her association with Red Hat.

Besides her husband Robert in Spokane, she is survived by her brother Leo Schumacher, Spokane, her sister Agnes Miller, Spokane, her brother David Schumacher, Redmond, WA, and her brother Eugene Schumacher, Spokane, and her step-son Colt Fosburgh, Herriman, UT.

There will be a service at Heritage Funeral Home, 508 N Government Way, Spokane, on June 16^th at 11:00.
