Ann Hitchcock Krempasky

Ann Hitchcock Krempasky Obituary (Age 79) Ann was born on March 18, 1930 in Butte, Montana. She was the third of four children born to the late Harry and Mame Hitchcock. Ann passed away quietly on October 15, 2009. Preceded in death by her brothers, Bill and Tom Hitchcock, her sister, Mary Lou (Hitchcock) App, resides in LaConner, WA. Ann married George T. Krempasky on July 2, 1955 in Butte, MT. They moved to Spokane in 1958 where they resided until 1970. After living in Helena, MT for nine years, they returned to Spokane. George, her devoted husband of 39 years, passed away in November of 1994. Ann most recently resided at the Waterford retirement community where she had many friends. She was a long time member of St. Augustine's Catholic Church and WAAIME, Women's Auxiliary to AIME. She was the international vice president of WAIIME in 2005. Ann touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her kind heart to the end. Ann will be remembered by her loving children, Mary Krempasky Smith (Spokane, WA), Margaret Divish (Eden Prairie, MN), Tom Krempasky (Spokane, WA) and Nanette Peterson (Spokane, WA), caring sons-in-law, Steve Smith, Bob Divish and John Peterson, and treasured grandchildren, Alicia Smith, Stephanie Smith, Jeff Smith, Jake Divish, Nick Divish, Joe Divish, Mikaela Peterson, and Cian Peterson. She will be missed by countless other friends and family who were blessed to know her. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Ann's life by attending a Rosary Service on Wednesday, October 21 at 7pm and her Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 22, 2009, at 11am. Both will be held at St. Augustine's Catholic Church at 428 W 18th, Spokane, WA 99203.
