On Friday, December 5th, 2025, Annie C. Jaouak (Palm) passed away at the age of 57.
Annie was born in Los Angeles, California, on August 5th, 1968, to Alfred and Edna Palm. In the mid-1970s, she and her family relocated from LA County to Priest River, Idaho. Annie graduated from Priest River Lamanna High School with the class of 1986. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Detroit, Michigan, to serve as a nanny for her eldest brother’s three young daughters. She later returned to Spokane, Washington, in the early 1990s.
In July 2012, Annie earned her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Human Services from the University of Phoenix. Her professional life was dedicated to the healthcare industry, where she worked primarily on the billing side. Annie contributed to several organizations, including Anesthesia Associates Inc. (now Anesthesia Billing Consultants), National University of Natural Medicine, and most recently, Molina Healthcare Inc.
Annie married Kamal Jaouak on April 11, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Edna; four brothers, Cornelius, Alvin, Calvin, and Andrew; one sister, Carolyn; and her beloved canine companion, Groot. Annie is survived by Kamal, and Max (her beloved dog); two brothers, David and Fredrick; one sister, Barbara; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends she considered as close as family.
A memorial service in Annie’s honor will be held at noon (12:00 PM) on Friday, December 19th, 2025, in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation, located at 508 N Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224. The service will be followed by a graveside burial at the same location. Immediately after the services, there will be a gathering to celebrate Annie’s life, fondly referred to as “Annie’s been promoted.” The celebration will be held at the Hill House Event Center located at 3023 E Diamond Ave, Spokane WA, 99217. Light bites will be provided and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from the Event Center Bar.
